Manchmal tut es mir so leid, dass ich kein Masochist bin.
Aber bevor ich ganz im Selbstmitleid versank, entdeckte ich zu Hause im Briefkasten von der lieben Feronia eine ihrer selbstgemachten Karten und folgendes Buch - das hat mich echt wieder zum Lächeln gebracht.

After the extraction of the wisdom tooth was not enough thrill, I decided to indulge again in a root end surgery. Yeah! Was today for 150 minutes at the dentist in order to get attuned.
Sometimes I am sorry I'm no masochist...
But before I wallowed in self-pity, I found a parcel from Feronia with one of her self-made cards and a book that made me smile again.

My home town, Colchester has a statue of Boudaca! Her tribe came from the same area, and she led them in burning down the Roman temple there. Later on, the Normans built a castle over the remains, but you can go down into the foundations and see the remaining Roman pillars there. You can even see where some of it is still black from the fire!
Thank you for your comment on my stressful post :) yes, the health "care" my mum is getting is driving me to distraction. At least she is home now. When she moves up nearer to us maybe she will find better doctors there. The Colchester hospital is a university teaching one, so MAYBE it will better. Then again, they might get all the students to practise on her arms.... eeeek
